We make Momentum ourselves, in our own dedicated manufacturing facility in Wisconsin. Unlike brands that outsource production, we maintain direct oversight of every stage, from the moment ingredients arrive to the finished bag. Our facility operates under strict quality controls, including safeguards against cross-contamination, so we know exactly how every shake is made.
Our grass-fed whey comes from a fifth-generation, family-owned Wisconsin dairy company with deep roots in cheesemaking. Advanced cold filtration produces a premium whey protein isolate that’s more than 99% lactose-free. We pair it with carefully sourced grass-fed collagen to deliver 30 grams of high-quality protein in every serving.
Animal welfare is an essential part of our commitment to responsible sourcing. We never test Momentum or its ingredients on animals, and we take particular care with our colostrum. It’s sourced from small, grass-fed Wisconsin farms where newborn calves receive their recommended four liters of colostrum before any is collected for Momentum. The calves’ needs always come first.
We independently test Momentum for contaminants and make the results publicly available. We verify ingredients for identity, purity, and potency before production and work with independent laboratories, including Eurofins, to test for heavy metals and microbial contaminants. We publish our laboratory reports so you can review the results yourself.

Momentum gets its delicious flavor from real, premium ingredients. We use rich Guittard cocoa, genuine organic Madagascar vanilla beans extracted in-house, organic roasted Georgia peanuts, and a blend of five organic fruits. No artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. No fillers or preservatives.
We use genuine Lion’s Mane mushroom fruiting bodies, not inexpensive grain-grown mycelium. The part of the mushroom used can significantly affect its composition, including the naturally occurring compounds it contains. We evaluate the form, quality, and sourcing of our mushroom ingredients against the scientific research behind our formula.
Momentum is independently tested for heavy metals, and we make the results publicly available. Eurofins Laboratories tests for arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury, with our published results falling well below the report’s recommended limits.
We maintain strict ingredient-sourcing standards that include screening for pesticide residues. Our quality program pays particular attention to agricultural ingredients, where pesticide exposure can occur during growing and harvesting. We evaluate our suppliers and verify ingredient purity before production to help keep unwanted residues out of Momentum.
